How you feel when you are living in another person’s room for a long time and suddenly he/she says you will have to vacate room. Neemdanda community people felling same for a long time. Because land on which they are living for a long time it’s not their own land. So they decided to live on their own land but from where the land comes? After visit of Dist. Commissioners-Shivpuri visit in February month. They promised to get 25 Acres land just one Km far away from present Neemdanda village. But after 6 months they didn’t have anything.
So they decided to meet MLA and other district level officials to get their land. On 29th of August a group of 45 community people from Neemdana villages went to Shivpuri in morning and first mate MLA of Shivpuri (Makhan Lal Rathore) and submitted Gyapan to him. He assured for full and quick help. Then they went to Jila Panchayat Adhyakcha of Shivpuri (Jitendra Jain) for same problem and submitted a Gyapan to him also. Unity of villagers worked. After 2 days Patwari- Manoj Khateek and Tehseeldar went Neemdanda to show community people their new land. Almost all villagers went to that place and seen it and felt very happy and also thanked Jeevika team for standing with them. Most of them were saying that now we have our own land.
