Control over fish cultivation@JEEVIKA Dhar

At Girwalpura village of Dhani ( Dhar) cluster there is a large pond which has registered patta in name of commitee of farmers club. A group of fisher men were growing fish and selling them for a long time. They were making good profit from this business. The Jeevika team members made aware of the farmers club members about the utility claim on the concerned pond. The club members decided that the village community should get the benefit of profit from their own pond.

Hence, a meeting was held with the fisher men and they were informed that a share of profit from sale of fish should be given to the leagle owner of the pond which is Girwalpura. They came to an agreement that Rs. 50000 shall be paid by the fish growers every year to the farmers club Girwalpura.
