18th June 2013: In terms of strengthening a team work with agriculture department in collaboration to make services reach to farmers ( deprived and marginalized) JEEVIKA Pali team had meeting with Agri. Deportment Umaria D.D.A. (Dypty Director of Agriculture) Mr.. Suman Kumar and discussion and plan on Promotion of Organic farming and SRI in Paddy and vegetable production , Line sowing of Maize with women farmers. Mr. Suman Kumar has stated CARITAS INDIA JEEVIKA EFFORT AS ONE OF THE MOST INNOVATIVE EFFORT IN THE FIELD OF SUSTIANABLE AGRICULTURE IN UMARIA DISTRICT AND EXTEND THEIR SUPPORT for the promotion of JEEBIKA model.
