Meet Gobind, 37, a tribal farmer, 6th pass, with 5 family members and with 2.5 acre of land from Durga nayak village ( Shehore, Madhya Pradesh). Just 6 months back hed had hardly any alternative source for income, but with intervention of Caritas India through its development initiative JEEVIKA ( through its implementing partner ANWC_Bhopla), life of gobind has changed, he recived training from KVk on alternative livelihood options and technical support from JEEVIKA team of ANWC and started vegetable cultivation. Initially invested about 500INR and earned about 2600 INR in 40 days, apart from this with vegetable cultivation he has learn the techniques of 100% organic cultivation.
