Four families of Chasiya village in Khurda cluster were affected by the high-tension power line passing through the village. When there was rain, current from the power-line affected the houses creating fear among the people of the village. Jeevika team member visited the village and discussed the problem. It was further reported in the local news-paper (Naiduniya). The concerned authorities of electricity dept. came to know about it and they have visited the village to assess the problem.
The affected families have been offered compensation and told them to shift the houses to alternate location. The families have agreed to shift the houses provided they get sufficient compensation to build new houses.
