Meet a SHG named jai maa (formed under Caritas JEEVIKA project ) in Sunadri nagar village of Umariya. It represent half of india, 15 members in the group are from 14 different states-uttar pradesh, madhya pradesh, chattisgarh, orissa, west bengal, tamilnadu, jharkhand, rajasthan, bihar, maharashtra, gujrat and kerala!!!
Hope this is first of its kind of shg in india representing half of India! All these women are daily wage labourers and settled here in village about 35 years back! Most of them belongs to goond tribes community. They meet every week and saves Inr 20 every week, participate in gram sabha and soon going to start Jeevika cloth shop in pali market.
