Jeevika Indore...vermin compost preparation....

Jeevika Indore...commited to quality work or RBM in its every activity....sucha as in the month of November we have materialized the outcome of vermin bed installation successfully...selected and interested farmers are making good quality of vermin compost with vermin wash trhroegh these beds...

Application of organic agriculture practices....

Three farmers of Gadiya Daggad and Dhapla villages named Jagan and shyamlal respectively has been adopted and continuing organic farming practices in their vegetable cultivation. As well as these farmers have already started mixed cropping. They have expressed that their yield quality in terms of weight and visibility has been improved tremendously.

Jeevika Indore....Micro credit and IGP....

With the initiative of Jeevika Cluster Coordinator Mr. Mahesh Girwal of Dhani cluster, the women’s group named Rani Durgawati of Gadiya Daggad village of Dhani cluster approached the official who are taking care of CSR activities of HDFC bank. The bank official’s wereinvited to the village for verification and feasibility study of authenticity of the group. The officials, after proper verification and processes, approved micro-financing for IGPs up-to Rs. 97000 for 13 SHG women. The money has already been transferred to their account.

Jeevika Indore.....Seed distribution..

At Dhani cluster Jeevika team leveraged 2000 Kg of good quality seeds of wheat has been distributed to 55 target farmers of Dhani cluster.

KDSS, Khandwa: A small vegetable outlet set up by SHGs members of village Kalapatha


Jeevika Khandwa: SHGs women's of village Kalapatha set a good mark of self- Reliant. A group of five to six women's comes daily to Khalwa market for selling the vegetables. According to them they earn Rs 150-200 per day by selling fresh vegetables.

We Jeevika Team trying to give them a permanent platform for the growth of their business and also we want to promote them under the Jeevika Brand.

KDSS, Khandwa: Children's Day celebrated with fun-filled activities in Jeevika targeted village.


On the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children's Day celebrated with enthusiasm and passion in jeevika Village. Various programs including discussion, cultural activities, Baal Sabha were organised in the school of Deolikala.

Children's conducted a cleaning drive near their school premises and Hand Wash program was also conducted on the same day. In Anganwadis there was a special program conducted with children and women's.

Indore Diocese Social Service society(IDSSS) is very happy to inaugurate the 'Child Protection Policy" and "Gender Policy" on 1/11/2014. It was inaugurated in the presence of all the IDSSS staff with a oath ceremony to implement it into all our project area. Since present scenario demands to protect our children as well as give due respect and honor to the women with whom we are working. In this regard IDSSS has developed a policy as a guide, which will help and support all our staff to work in a pleasant atmosphere. All the IDSSS staff have agreed upon the guidelines mention in the policy and joined hands to follow the instructions given by the organization.
